Mark DeArcangelis

Mark’s been rocking with Cory since 2015, back when he was a senior at Middletown High and Cory came in to do a lighting presentation. That one moment kicked off a working relationship that never really stopped. Cory jokes that he hasn’t been able to get rid of him since.

Mark started by learning the ropes of lighting, but it didn’t take long before he picked up the DJ side of things and ran with it. He’s worked with Cory his entire DJ career, so when Burnside Events launched, there was zero question—Mark was coming along for the ride.

Mark comes from a busy house with three brothers (he’s the second oldest), so handling the chaos of a packed dance floor is second nature. He’s got a deep love for music and everything about a party, because that’s when people finally let go, unwind, and just enjoy life. That’s also why, outside of weddings, you’ll usually catch him DJing somewhere in downtown Frederick just for the love of it.

He has an undergraduate degree in cyber security from Mount St. Mary’s University, but let’s be real—Mark is best known for his ability to throw down harder than anyone. He’s always keeping the crowd guessing, slipping in tracks and remixes no one saw coming but everyone goes wild for.

Fun fact: Mark DJ’d Cory’s actual wedding. So yeah... we guess he’s okay. Official blood or not, Mark is family, and that’s what Burnside is all about.
